JONATHAN P. WARNER

CEBS, ISCEBS Fellow, President, CEO

Jon Warner is an accomplished broker, consultant and author. Detail oriented, he is vibrant while being a calm communicator. These style characteristics differentiate him in his field. Jon’s multi-faceted leadership experiences make him sought after by corporations and non-profits for projects to enhance value while retaining cost efficiency in benefit plan offerings. He is known for his contract negotiation skills.

A Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS), Jon is a graduate of an intensive educational program developed by the The International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans and the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He has maintained his “FELLOWSHIP” status with this organization since 2002 and is one of only 500 professionals in the world to hold this distinction. Jon is a graduate of Phillips Academy in Andover, Massachusetts plus holds a BA in Political Science and Education from Middlebury College (Middlebury, Vermont).

Jon published his first book in 2009 called "Making Sense of 21st Century Health Insurance Plans". He followed with "How To Win The Health Care Game" including its condensed version. "Winning the Health Care Game" is his third title, published in 2016. He maintains a BLOG providing updates and opinions on health benefits trends: HEALTHCAREMIND.wordpress.com

In the maze of rising health care costs and confounding legislative bureaucracy, Jon provides stability and assurance in the form of a clear path for employers. His strategic solution approach is thoughtful and thorough. A strong analytical focus and technical prowess allows his companies to compete with benefits brokerage and administration firms of all sizes.

Jon’s has more than 35 years of experience assisting large self-funded employers along with medium and smaller organizations. His goal is to help every participant understand and find value in their benefits coverage. Recommendations are delivered with care and creativity, important in an age when most employees share in payroll contributions and are exposed to thousands of dollars of personal liability.

In the addition to owning JP Warner Associates, Jon owns Human Resource Administrators, a Third Party Administration (TPA) firm which processes and pays HRA, HSA, FSA, Transit, Dental and Vision benefit claims. The company administers COBRA, provides 1095 reporting services, writes Plan Documents and provides Benefits Legislation Compliance oversight. Jon's knowledge of how each of these components integrates with a successful employee benefits strategy support his goal of partnering with employers for the long term.

Married for 30 years, Jon and his wife Vicki have raised three wonderful children in suburban Philadelphia. He is Chairman of the Board for Sacred Heart Academy Bryn Mawr and serves as a Trustee for the Good Shepherd Rehabilitation Network based in Allentown, PA. Jon enjoys golf, skiing, and singing. Jon is a former certified alpine ski instructor. Along with his son, he is a retired member of the Philadelphia Boys Choir & Chorale.
